XML information file

BarcodeOCR can create an information file in XML format for each output file. It contains all information about the document and the recognized barcodes. Downstream applications can evaluate this information.

Set it up​

In the Advanced step of the configuration, in the Downstream application section, enable the option Create an extended information file for each processed file.

Content​

The information file contains all information about the document, including:

  • source document and target document
  • text and position of the barcodes
  • format
  • barcode type

Location​

BarcodeOCR saves the information file in the output folder. It has the name of the output file with the extension .xml appended.
